Humble Beginnings in Toronto

Malvern Medical Centre was born over 40 years ago by Drs Ralph Charyk, Michael Ingber and Larry Lerner. It was established as a full-service medical clinic at 1333 Neilson Road to serve the diverse patients needs of Scarborough, Toronto, and beyond. It was an instant success due to the high quality and compassionate care offered by its bright, Canadian-trained physicians. As the clinic grew, numerous specialists and services were brought on to expand offerings including a Dermatology service. The demand for dermatology grew exponentially and Dr. Samir N. Gupta, who had recently graduated from U of T, McGill , the University of Chicago and Harvard University, was recruited to develop and direct the service. In 2023 the original clinic in Scarborough relocated to our brand new, modern 10000 sq ft facility at 520 Ellesmere Road.

We now serve as a referral centre for patients from all over the province.

Since the early days there has been no looking back. We pride ourselves in being one of the best clinics for patient care in Canada.
