Our History
Malvern Medical Centre was born over 40 years ago by Drs. Ralph Charyk, Michael Ingber and Larry Lerner. It was established as a full-service medical clinic at 1333 Neilson Road to serve the diverse patients’ needs of Toronto with bright, Canadian-licensed physicians. The demand for speciality clinics, including dermatology, grew, and Dr. Samir N. Gupta, who had recently graduated from U of T, McGill, the University of Chicago and Harvard University, was recruited to develop and direct the service. In 2023 the clinic relocated to a new, modern 10000 sq ft facility at 520 Ellesmere Road.
We now serve as a referral centre for patients from all over the province.
Dermatology Expertise
Over the years, with thousands of hours of patient care and procedures under his belt, Dr. Gupta finessed his skills in the art of removing moles and other skin growths. Understanding depth, cell type and the pathology of the particular mole was instrumental in the removal.
He developed techniques and precision that delivered results often thought to be difficult to achieve.

Dermatology is a science. The removal of moles and other skin blemishes is an art. Understanding the skin’s anatomy, a mole’s cellular make-up, depth and breadth, as well as understanding an individual’s skin contour and colour, are critical to a successful mole removal.
